Dolldom collaborated with artist Paul Pham on the creation of a OOAK doll using his superb new EunHa sculpt. Dolldom wished for a classic look, perhaps with a side-glance. And timeless dark red lips for a timeless woman.

Pham provided a mock-up during the process of realizing the face-up.

After recovering from the shock that only extreme beauty can provoke, Dolldom thought of pumping up the gaze to reveal even more strength of character.

And Pham, the consummate artist, nailed it!

Dolldom decided on the direct gaze as it communicated even more decisiveness.

Once at Dolldom, EunHa chose a new name - Jiho- and a look to make her debut in photos, which we hope that you will enjoy.

March of Dames

March beings at Dolldom with a celebration of the handmade beauty of the Séverine doll. Painted by hand, her hair hand styled, and her fashions handmade, the Séverine doll is a very couture creation.

First off - The Sév Files!
There have been reports of alien sightings. Séverine's lips are sealed. Suffice it to say that her dress by Liz Cole for Retros is sufficient documentation on Séverine's encounter of the third kind.





Then there is The High Priestess. Dressed for a ceremonial procession in a terrific gown by Rosina Haskell, Séverine's expression reveals her spiritual connections to higher powers.







We close the show with a golden touch: La Bionda. Séverine sports golden tresses and a gold and orange (what an intoxicating palette) cocktail dress by Debbie Farne Sang. Necklace by VJT Desingns.

Mel Odom's grand lady of cinema, in her exquisite "Phoenix" iteration produced by JAMIEshow Dolls, models one of her most iconic looks from the Ashton-Drake period.


Designed by Dolly Cipolla, the circa 1957 gown is a tribute to floral beauty.

In a wig restyled by the magical Kathy Johnson and with jewelry by VJT Designs, Miss Marshall is the epitome of not-to-be-forgotten glamour.

"New York City has always held a soft, sentimental spot in its worldly heart for Gene Marshall. After all, she was 'discovered' there working in a movie theater (which all the local point to with pride). Plus, her family is from Cos Cobb, Connecticut, and that's close enough for New Yorkers to consider Gene a hometown girl. So New York was thrilled when Gene came 'home' to film PERSONAL SECRETARY in Manhattan. All throughout shooting, the media kept anticipation at a fever-pitch with feature stories about Gene on-and-off camera. When the night of the premiere came, New Your City celebrated as only the Big Apple can. Massive spotlights swept the sky outside the same movie theater that Gene once worked as an usherette. The excitedly buzzing crowds were held back by velvet-roped stanchions, while mounted police stood by. A platinum silver limousine purred to a stop at the head of the red carpet, and out stepped Gene. She uncurled from the shadowy limo like a sleek, curvaceous feline, wearing a sultry mermaid gown of rich Dubonnet wine that lovingly graced every contour. Her platinum hair shone like sterling silver in the flashbulbs, and her acclaimed smile was as dazzling as her jewelry. With hundreds of fans cheering her. Mom and Dad in the front row, and lavish bouquets in her hotel suite form four well-known leading men... this night was unforgettable for both Gene and New York City."

Mood Violet

A golden voice in an imperfect world born.  Violet Waters, the famous jazz star, was celebrated as such in her country, yet much more revered in Europe. Her story is not unlike the lives of many of other talented artists such as Bessie Smith, Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, Lena Horne who faced great challenges and triumphed by the sheer force of their artistic gifts and resolve.
Violet Waters joins Gene Marshall and Madra Lord once again as the reigning beauties of Monolithic Studios thanks to the collaboration of artist Mel Odom and JAMIEshow Dolls. In her "Satin Doll" iteration, Violet is perhaps at her most gloriously exquisite.

For this Dolldom exclusive feature Miss Waters, in all their "Smooth-J" resin gorgeousness and non-toxicity, poses wearing some irrefutably memorable fashions and hair designs. The past and the present meld to offer dollectors a gift of beauty, unadulterated and enjoyable playtime, and of course, music.


Special Appearance. Violet Waters wears her very first gown and her trademark orchid.


The gown, designed by José D'Saenz, is delicately beaded in iridescent sequins and pearls.

Violet wears the classic "Autumn Lace", one of many gowns produced by Ashton-Drake for the famed singer.


Mystère. Violet appeared in the Jean Cocteau film Les passe-temps terribles along with Trent Osborn. Her wardrobe was designed by DAE Originals. In this still from the film, Miss Waters models "Simply Smart" in rich chocolate brown.


What A Swell Party! Monolithic Studios' stars unite to wish studio chief Reuben Lilienthal a happy birthday. Miss Waters intones the customary song in "Twilight Rumba" designed by Doug James.


Transatlantic Voyage. In "Mood Indigo" designed by José Ferrand, Miss Waters boards the Queen Mary with her band. First stop: Paris, City of Lights!

Bloom Boom! Violet Waters was asked to model "Garden Party", a Deborah Silva design inspired by Jacques Fath, at a fundraising luncheon benefiting Central State College's scholarship fund, where her father was a literature professor.
