Haircut Economics

Haircuts. Appointments. Bad hair days. Fly away stands. Same-old-style boredom. What to do? Wear a wig cap.

JAMIEshow Doll's invention for its eponymous line of ball jointed dolls offers the ease and instant gratification that dollectors seek when at play. So what if a sober suit were to look better with a more traditional side parted cut? No problem. JAMIEshow Doll has it covered as there is a wig cap for professors as well as rock stars and everyone in between.

For this exclusive Dolldom entry, Palm Springs Lee models a slew of the company's wig caps in preparation for our fall fashion spectacular coming soon. We hope that you agree that although Lee is one of the most handsome models in the biz, hair, in this case, does make the man.

Mid-Century Classic. "The Mister" style along with a classic pair of frames by Shadowartifact yields an elegant gent look. Necklace by Joy Jarred.

Boy Band. "Palms Springs Basic's" style is carefree yet groomed.

"The Lee" is a short cropped cut with sufficient length at front to allow for a little hair play.

Papito! "The Waves" style is the equivalent of Farrah Fawcett hair for men. Sexy, windblown style for the leading man.

Más macho. "The Alejandro" style is an on trend look with undercut sides and a longer crown, combed back.

Hipstah! The show closes with a topknot pony with tapered sides that evokes Japanese samurai as well as today's urban dweller style. Hinged sunglasses by Shadowartifact.

For another year ends and with it go many an memory of a life well lived. Whatever the mood, the men of JAMIEshow will be dressed to welcome in the new year in style. "2016, we are ready for you!" - they say in unison as they model the masculine designs of talented Ayal Armon for JAMIEshow Homme.

"Sharp Casual"

"On Michigan Avenue" Basic Tatum opts for a classic peacoat-inspired linen coat with metallic thread in a soothing cream color and a pewter mesh muscle top. The nautical feel is repeated by the classic black linen pants.

Tatum: The Real King Man

The books describe him as an affable king, just and faithful to his people. In war or in peace, he gave his all. To this day the children of the children of his children revere him. His name was King Tatum.

JAMIEShow's ultimate stud, Tatum, changes from his "On Michigan Avenue" set into a more regal silk brocade tunic and turban manufactured by Ashton-Drake for Mel Odom's groundbreaking male doll Trent Osborn.

Long live King Tatum!

Styles by Chewin

Chewin Gallapa is first and foremost a doll collector. Known for his fantastic doll repaints, the artist has also created a solid reputation with his innovative hard cap wigs and highly detailed fashions for ball-jointed fashion dolls.

For this Dolldom feature, JAMIEShow's Havana Night's Lee and Alejandro model Chewin's well-tailored styles and perfectly fitted wigs in this mid-summer tribute to classic menswear.

Lee is styling in "Kemthong's" pinstripe lined cotton jacket and summer weight wool pants.

A cool light pink cotton shirt and red silk bow-tie complete the look.

Lee sports Chewin's "Spoke" wig in black.

Chewin's "Rung-Roht" fashion evokes fall with its subtle autumnal palette.

A black cotton knit vest may be worn also on its own with a pair of jeans.

Alejandro is even more handsome in Chewin's "Mai Khao" wig in black.
