The Girl from Ipanema

Summertime...and the living is easy. Sometimes all it takes to experience that oft-touted summer vibe is to listen to a favorite song sipping a favorite drink while watching the sun set. 

One of Dolldom's favorite tunes is "The Girl from Ipanema", written by Antonio Carlos Jobim with lyrics by Vinicius De Moraes (translation by Norman Gimbel). 

Dolldom honors this classic performed by Astrud Gilberto, João Gilberto and Stan Getz with a special portfolio featuring two very special Joey Versaw's Meadow dolls. Meadow, based on the drawings of Edmond Kiraz, captures the zeitgeist of the 1960s modeling a selection of fashions by Integrity for Poppy Parker, Mattel for Francie, and Engadered Sissy for Blythe.
