Va-voom Allure: Miss Mary's Back!

Extra! Extra! Miss Mary doll by Joey Versaw is ready to do her best to satisfy the quest for zest of dollectors the world over.

Coming up this Friday, November 14, 2025,  Versaw will officially open a two-week pre-order period for two uniquely new Miss Mary dolls: "Verdant Siren" and "Nocturne Allure".  Made of luxury resin, the dolls feature newly-designed, hand painted face-ups that exemplify exuberance, while the accompanying corsets, high-heel shoes and wigs create va-voom looks that will be hard to resist.

To make this collection even more joyful, Versaw is also offering two special accessories: the return of Constantine, Miss Mary's pet snake and a pale blonde wig, called "The Vivian" that takes us to the boudoirs of Mae West and Jayne Mansfield.

"Verdant Siren" is a gorgeous blonde in a new wig style in a green corset and nude pumps. "Nocturne Allure" is a seductive brunette in a black corset and black pumps. Both dolls will also come with a Miss Mary sash, hard sculpted resin wig, high heel shoes, clothing pattern, certificate, and box.

For this Dolldom exclusive entry, "Verdant Siren" and "Nocturne Allure" Miss Mary dolls play dress-up in fab couture by Rosina Haskell, Tania Lawrence, Marirose, Criscrash, and Henrietta Lockhart.

Who's That Girl?

Doll play has 1001 manifestations as it goes beyond the mere act of a wardrobe change. Dollectors of all ages engage in an instantaneous storytelling journey, be it by adding a pair of sunglasses or repositioning the protagonist of the narrative.  Creative and revealing, doll play is, to many of us at Dolldom, as much a balsam for the soul as a shot of gin.

Enter Joey Versaw's Meadow, lead singer of the band The Daffodollies. A tribute to the art of French illustrator Kiraz, Meadow combines the latest in technology with painstaking hand painting of face up and body blushing. Sculpted digitally and then 3-D printed, Meadow is the apotheosis of digital magic, but it is the way in she's brought to life in the hands of Versaw, that Meadow truly becomes a character; a perfect heroine for many an adventure.

Designed to wear wigs and to fit into couture created for slim dolls, Meadow invites us to engage with her. As this entry proves, Meadow truly is 100 dolls in one, as with just the change of wig, a new character is born. Add Mod styles borrowed from Francie, Momoko, even Poppy Parker, and suddenly, we all ask: "Who's that girl?"

Ultra Riche, Ultra Nouveau

The saga of Joey Versaw's muses continues with a new and exciting line titled "Nouveau Riche".

Being “Framed” for a crime of which they weren’t guilty brought a new stirring, an inner awakening in Miss Mary and Monday. To fill a void that the emotional journey had left in them, Monday and Miss Mary unknowingly invoked the goddesses of greed and vanity.

Monday represents the Goddess of Vanity holding her Art Nouveau mirror so she can gaze at herself. Monday wears a silver striped bodysuit, a gorgeous sheer Grecian inspired gown, a sheer flowing wrap, silver shoes, a flower choker, and a Da Vinci-inspired hard sculpted wig.

Mary represents the Goddess of Greed clutching her Art Nouveau purse in antique copper. Mary wears a green/blue iridescent bodysuit, a sheer robe, a jeweled belt, copper high heels, a flowered choker, and Inspired by a famous piece of Nouveau jewelry a Dragonfly head piece to top off her look.
