Animal Kingdom

I’ve never met a leopard print I didn’t like!

Many moons ago, in her pursuit of survival, many a cavewoman shielded her skin and those of her progeny with the pelts of those less fortunate animals that her cavemates (or most probably, herself!) hunted. Perhaps one day, by a placid lake, Jane of the Mossy Cavern, catching a glimpse of her reflection swathed in bison, experienced vanity for the very first time. And the rest, as they say, is fashion history.

Mel Odom's Ivy Jordan welcomes you to the Animal Kingdom in Liz Cole's sexy take on the little black dress. Earrings by Joy Jarred.

For nothing defines essential chic more (black faille and velvet excepted) than the sight of a human wearing the skin of an animal of a species different from hers or his. Today, dolls of all denominations derive the same sensation of self-awe and delight as Jane did when modeling something fabulously wild yet guiltless by its faux nature.

Dolldom invites you to enjoy this exclusive feature and to consider adding a little bit of faux wilderness to your daily fashion routine.

Who decided, by the way, to call vanity a sin?
