Ralph Eugene Meatyard: Dolls and Masks

Ralph Eugene Meatyard (1925–1972) was optician in Lexington, Kentucky who often integrated dolls, masks, and other stylized representations of the human form, along with his children, in his photographic work. Dolldom applauds this interesting exploration of the power of the seemingly inanimate. After all, it is what we are all about.
